The Fight Within
Being a control freak often gets a bad rap! It’s good to be in control of your finances, boundaries, etc. same thing with glory. It’s good to want to shine! To be seen as capable, talented, and gifted. The same thing goes for authority. It is a good thing to want to be powerful. In a way that influences people…..BUT ALL these things have a shadow side. Where we tip from operating outside of the good into the not-so-good.
We believe we are in a season, where God is calling us to be ALL IN, and to enter into our promised land, individually, and as a church, but the enemy does not want us to enter, or stay in our promised land. Why??? because that was the exact same place he slipped up on! Looking through the passages of Ezekiel and Isaiah, we learned valuable insight into how we should live life, not slipping up on who ultimately has full control, glory, and authority.
We are all essentially funnels. Living as created beings in a way that honors The One who created us in the first place.
If you would like to find out more about how to not only enter the promised land that God has in store for you but stay in the promised land, check out this message from Elan Church.
